To Giannis
yes the textures get copied to the mat editor folder when you save your material
To Phillip
The idea for a stand alone material editor is amazing
especially if we will be able to create/convert materials between different renders like Giannis suggested indigo , suflow , kerkythea , yafray , povray...etc.
That would attract a lot of people and would make comparing between renders ( rendering the same scene ) much easier
.
It would be also nice if we could import materials from Blender or other apps and have a easy converter for other renders .
But i would like to know your ideas and what are your initial plans
( what kind of program do you use for modeling /rendering ?)
Greetings Patrick
