Emergency Lighting

Hi there!

I've been fiddling around with SU and KT for while now, mostly trial-and-error stuff.
At the moment I'm trying to create a semi-realistic render of an ambulance with it's emergency lighting activated (Code 3, Blues and Twos, party lighting, whatever you want to call it ;) ). However, the results I've been getting are... somewhat disappointing. So far, I've tried the following:

- Point lights
- Spot lights
- Spot lights + light emitting material
- Light emitting material

The combination of spot lights and light emitting material has been the most succesful, but I'm still not satisfied with the results. :-k
The image is the best I have available at the moment, showing a test render of the spot light/light emitting material combo. The spot light power is probably way to strong, while the light emitting material (simulating the Light Emitting Diodes) is too dark.

Any thoughts out there?

Re: Emergency Lighting

You can achieve extremely satisfying result for your requirement, with a little job in Photoshop. Over your rendered image only..
