Hi Cuore and everybody else :)

here is my test on recreating the first reference photo you have posted ( the green edge blurry glass ) ..... this one is 100% accurate but should be used with unbiased render methods like MLT, BiPT or MLT & BiPT because with PM & FG it can take long time to render ( but can be used with PM & FG too  ) ....the glass have to have thickness .
the material pack contains the same "Green Edge Blurry Glass" with different Absorption Falloff values .... meaning that the first one is like the one you can see here with Falloff 10.00 and then the others have reduced values until 1.00 which gives a blurry glass that is perfect clear/white but still have green edges . The shininess value is the same for all of them ( 128.0 for both refraction and reflection ..... if you want less blurry reflection or reflection , increase the shininess values ( 500.00 or 750.00 can give good results ) if you want more blurry glass , reduce the shininess value ................. you dont have to increase or reduce both values (specular reflection shininess and reflection shininess ), you can adjust them like you want ( blurry glass with crisp reflection exist too  )

one important thing is that you have to enable "Volume Lighting" under Settings - Scene - Global Settings because this material uses Absorption/Falloff

Edit: added another render so you can see how the changes to the values affect the blurry glass

Greetings Patrick

Hi again :)

here i post an alternative blurry glass material that can be used for all render methods and also work with single face objects ( similare like our thin glass material ) ...... this one render relative fast with PM & FG ( use pseudo caustics  ) ...... as it is not 100% accurate ( it dont uses IOR refraction which speeds up render time ) and dont uses Absorption Falloff , it dont have "green edges" but it work very good for blurry windows or doors like the reference image you posted with the house and the blurry glass windows ..... ( but you could "fake" the green glass edges by applying a different material to the edges of the glass in your modeler and then in KT apply the same material with a green color to it  )

as i mentioned , this material can also be used with single face objects .
i think it can be a good alternative for faster rendering ( please read my earlier post ( first page ) about how to improve PM & FG rendering with AA threshold , Brightness threshold and fuzzy tracing qualetie )

the material pack has different shininess values ( the image here has a shininess value of 500.00 which i think is good for blurry glass like your reference image show ... maybe you could use also 750.00 or 1000.00 )

Greetings Patrick ( if you have any problem , please let me know and i will see if i can help  )

side by side !

My material and Patricks material both have verty different
look.
Both render pretty fast ! I tried them out and here is a comparison
of both typs of material.
Patricks is of the frosted typ and mine is of the milk typ.......
See pictures and rendertimes(quad core Q6600 2400mhz 3GB).
I will add a colourless milky version with the next post !
