Material Packs Master Listing - a collection of links

Of course the obvious first stop: The KT.net Material Repository Downloads Section.

Be sure to get Patrick's basic material using a specular and a bump map, it's a great starter kit if

you are using arroway.de textures or similar.

And don't forget Jon's tut on "How to make a material from scratch (nothing)"

USA architects may like the Material Preview Scenes for Architects using Feet and Inches and

the Tutorial on using them.

If you'd like to make your own material, check out the Kerkythea 2008 Echo Material Editor Video Tutorial (25Mb) and the Material Editor Guide by Patrick for KT 2007 (18Mb).

The material test scenes for displaying materials can be found here.

Thanks to everyone here.

Hello everyone I'm brand new to this forum, a month new to Google Sketchup, a day new to the idea that I could do photorealistic rendering.

I just want to say a great big thanks you to all of you for offering these amazing material libraries.

I am looking to make my first material this week, hopefully tonight;-)
(thin translucent silicone).

When I am successful I will post it for sharing, where ever is most appropriate.

Thanks everyone for all your inspiring efforts:-)
