I too have been having problems running KT on mac. I have X11 installed, but it doesn't seem to be working.
I have been checking out the X11 docs on Apple.com and some seem to have some issues with the most current version of X11 that is installed with OSX 10.5 Leopard. I am wondering whether the RC3 mac is built to work with OSX Tiger, and whether this is causing the problems. There are some sources on the web that describe the process of restoring the Tiger version of X11, I am considering downgrading to this version.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

ok, so I have been trying to get the mac version to start on my PPC power mac at work with no success, but it starts up fine with a double click on my intel mac pro at home. both running on OSX 10.4.10.
the X11 version that it works on is "1.1.3 - XFree86 4.4.0" if that helps anybody.
