Starting KT on a Mac (Instructions)
hi,
please follow these steps:
1. Have installed X11 on your Mac (by default it is installed)
2. Run X11 prior to KT. You can find it from Finder, Applications > Utilities > X11.
You can also minimize it (no problem)
3. Unzip KT. Now unfortunately, you must have some compression utility
that supports passwords (I admit I recompressed the files later from a WinXP
machine and added the password). You can use 7zip which is an open
source (awarded) zip archiver - here's a latest version for Mac:
4. Go from Finder to the KT folder and double click it. If it does not run
eventually try running going there from console. Run it: ./Kerkythea
Now, If you get a message like can not run binary it can be probably
of the dependencies or binary permissions. (you can try chmod 777 ./Kerkythea
and run it again).
