Actually, i was going to start such a thread because i wanted
to hear your comments & first impressions.

I like it. The new features have some huge potential. Material editor is very cool, I watched patricks video and was just like wow.... wow.... wow...... WOW.

I just wish I could get PM+FG working better for me... my main computer doesn't like it though

Unfortunately there are a lot of undocumented new and attractive features
It seems to me that, at least a "What's new" thread, with short explanation on what it does, where to look for it and how to use it for those features would be of great help.

@ Fletch: why must I discover by mistake that two new buttons appear when I select more than one object? How could I know what they mean and how to use them.
I must insist: I think we're here to beta-test the program, not to spend time to look for new tools, to wonder how to use them and learn all by ourselves.

@ older beta team: don't let us, the novice ones, to walk in the dark!

Having gizmos that are unchanging as to their scale, somewhere out or inside the scene -on some corner of it maybe- is something very important. Really, when you have to edit objects which stand very far in the depths of the scene there appears to be a very significant difficulty. It is something I have mentioned many times, personally, to Ghiannis and he agrees. I think it is something that will be added in some coming version.

Bryce has been very keen in such tool details because of its being mainly a scenery app dealing with scenes of vast open fields. There are still many things to be taught from its gui regarding such matters.
