Xfrog tree model to test instancing...

when you say you can't get the .png to work, do you mean you can't get KT to read it's alpha channel, or that the whole texture will not be read?
if it will not be read at all, save as .tif, then re-save it and overwrite the .png.
if it will not work that way, right-click the layer name in pshop, duplicate layer, choose 'new' in the pulldown.
then open the channels tab, duplicate the alpha masks to the new image you just created using the method above... hopefully it will now have the alpha channels in it.
or faster, and better... EMAIL IT TO ME, BRO! Forget I'm here!?!

there's another free converter out there... we used if for the xfrog plants... can't recall what it is right now... but we posted a link to it somewhere...

You were right, Fletch... The png didn't read correct in KT... PS CS3 showed things right, but KT only showed a light-green color...
Any way... Notareal fixed it and now it works...
I will work on it later and post it in a couple of days...
