here's a small update, RC6.8 for win only!

fixes
1. Weird normal shading for SU2KT scenes (Tomasz)
The fix was made for left-handed transformations exported by SU (weird!)

2. MLT+BiPT fix for glasses (Patrick)

3. Fix for frame selection of animation camera, dof corresponding to old
KT files. Also, the combo-boxes in scene settings are now editable.

4. Some other fixes (also in cross-platform networking) - can't remember...

Overall, i am pretty sure now that we release on 30th Jan. I will have
the packages prepared this Wednesday (after resolving a few more things).

The scene material previews are not retained whenever there's a
change (adition/removal/etc) in the models. So, it was easy for me
to invalidate all materials in such a case... i know very dumb

I did reproduced though the bug of building materials in linux causing
a crash... it happens also in Mac where the modal progress dialog is
already disabled (this is what's causing it). Basically, it's a multithreading
issue where two threads access gui... don't know how to prevent it
(at least not in an obscure way).

Also, as Lee Anderson found, the Alt key does not work on both
linux/mac. I'll throw a mail to fox community, i fear i'll spend more hours
debugging fox here...
