Overall Feelings about KT 2008 Echo Release

"Very good" is a huge understatement for this release. I figured that KT2008 would be about 25% of what it turned out to be in the end! I mean, instancing, IES, Network rendering... how cool is that?
A huge well deserved thanks to the KT team!

If i where not a beta tester and not have see the new KT2008 Echo release i would not belief my eyes

it is not only better then KT2007 or a bug fix release .... it offers great new tools that you would not expect from a free program

I know that we ( beta tester ) are now used to KT 2008 Echo .... but nobody would prefer to go back to KT 2007

there are some things that we all know that needs to be improved ( flicker free animation rendering with fuzzy materials ...etc. and i also have some wishes for materials ) ... but he ..... we need something to do after KT2008 Echo ...right ?
and from what Giannis say about his planes for KT ... i think we could call the next release

I like it! And I agree with the above, in that there is no need to go back to an older version as is sometimes needed with other programs.

Still a few things I'd wish for, but I think this current release is great.

@ Giannis : ok....IMHO, KT misses a key feature. (a feature almost no one has)
For exemple : ability to stop and resume render...

another thing that now Indigo, Maxwell, Vray, Fry, and in fact almost all high-end renderers have : DISPLACEMENT

Seriously, with these two features, KT Vertigo could be released

Another thing to add to that, Alex:
Motion Blur (going back to one of my very first posts)
ex. select an object, appoint a speed, angle, ect.
I've seen this feature in C4D's renderer and Vray.
