Retro Runabout

Hi folks, Im still tinkering away when time permits, here are some new images I have made, its a retro style runabout, as with all retro styles its shiny and smooth, I still have not had time to do any expansive study on making materials for my work as I am a shift worker, so I am just using what i can find in materials so please exscuse my renders if they do not have detailed skins and after effects. In saying this, if anyone has ideas how to make engine exhaust effects that can be applied in render process I would be very happy to try them,I have tried adding light source and pumping up the power but with limited results, same goes with photo shop which still confounds me, I am still trying.

My latest renders are too big to add here so I attached earlier ones, managed to get the red one attached.

Hi guys, thanks for the reply, at least you managed to get some type of working effects Redsquare, my render screen went completely black lol.

It wasn't rocket science I just extruded cones from the engine housing, made them partially transparent and gave them a shader. Then in Kerky' I applied a windy procedural and a procedural ramp, coloured to choice and away it went. Then applied gaussian blur post pro.
