Hi everybody

i would like to remind everybody , that we still need a good cloth object for our material scene ...... and also a more simple glass object for PM & FG rendering ( could also serve for wall and floor ) ....... your suggestions and models are needed

Greetings Patrick

on the layer No11 one can find an UV mapped plane with subsurf and softbody modifier to experiment more.

Q,
no one mentioned it, so I have to say I really liked your try/render/idea... different and much closer camera angle may help us visualize the actual cloth material we are trying to umm... visualize ;) but other than that I thought it was good work! keep it up! I think the flowing fabric should be the test material, as well as the back of the chair itself.

Patrick and Jendrzych,
this is very much like what I was visualizing a long time ago, glad this is coming along! I think it needs a vertical surface with some 'tight' fabric to show what the fabric would look like on the surface of a chair for example. I'm thinking like an oval form coming up on the back of that round 'seat' if I can call it that... I don't want it to look like a chair, but something similar in form, with it tight and wrapping around the surface, and then flowing, because some materials will change drastically when on those two types of surfaces.
