When you're saying "genuine" mac machines what do you mean?

The Mac built will be a universal binary running on Intel/PPCs
that have MacOSX 10.4.1 and up (perhaps it also runs in earlier OS
although it needs testing). If your platform can support the MacOSX
with X11 server, then it can run KT.

I was meaning the earlier non intel chip macs, the 'pukka' mac of old prior to the power pc and I think running 1086 chip, unless I am barking up the wrong tree entirely. Anyhoo, a mac of the old school is my intention.

Let me add a little comment to what Giannis just said.
Choosing the right coss-platform development tool is a hard task since
many things had to be evaluated in advance. QT is probably the
best tool but is very expensive for a freeware project. Other alternative
are available but with limitations.
Unfortunately right now there is no native Foxtoolkit compilation for the MAC
(the author does not own a mac, but he said he would compile a mac version if he had one.. So donation of a MAC to Fox toolkit project are wellcome..

So right now the only way that KT could be ported to MAC was using X11 server implementation. It might be suboptimal, but right now is the best we could do for the Mac community.. Perhaps you could also make requests for a Mac port of Fox toolkit directly to Fox developer http://www.fox-toolkit.com/

got the macbook pro today, blender and su already working, but somehow i feel pretty toothless without the trusty KT
