I'm having a very senior moment, I cannot for the life of me control where my instances are being distributed on the canvas. Days I've been at it trying every combination I can think of to achieve what Fletch did in his tutorial. Failed every time. :cry:

I'm trying to instance certain areas on this mesh.

But continually the result is always similar to this. ie They are deposited on both the black and the white areas. :oops:

I suppose I should add that I'm using the Echo Boost, x64bit version. I have 12 GB ram, memory is not the problem. I'm just thick or, have they taken this option away for Thea? :( :grin:

I thought that as well, if you look at the shot of my screen above the last one, you'll see that I haven't got one. However \:D/ I just think I might have cracked it. All night I've been trying, talk about a glutton for punishment. ](*,)

Personally, I think it's me age. Anyway, I can see my tracks through the boundry boxes and, have just started a render, probably the grass is sooo small one won't be able to see any tracks. Until I mix up the grasses some more. :mrgreen:

Edit: YeeHa! Faint, but I can see tracks; \:D/ Need more grass etc, but at least it works at last and, no icon! Only done three passes, so I'll wait a-while whilst I have a drink & a fag. :grin:

At last ! Now to tickle the model a touch, remove a couple of kinks in the outer transit tubes. Adjust the inner tube windows as they are too transparent. Find some suitable plants, trees etc. By which time I probably will have forgotten how I eventually did this. :lol:
