Setup KE to be as easy as Keyshot?

KE does a way better render with way more tweakability than Keyshot, but Keyshot isso much quicker to setup a render scene. Fewer options. My version of Keyshot (2.1) does not even have light controls (or I don't know about them or use them).

So... what is the best way to go about setting up KE to be more of an "open, drop model in, situate, and render" operation?
