Kerkythea vs. Thea Render

Hi,

I've just found out about Thea Render and was wondering how it differs from Kerkythea;

I'm guessing being commercialised, that Thea render will have a more polished user-face, but is Kerkythea capable of producing the same quality of the work as Thea render, but just harder to do so?

Also if Thea render can produce better work, by roughly what % will it be better?

Thea render does have a much advanced rendering engines and material system... differences do go far deeper than just in UI. Even as Thea can read Kerkythea files, it actually does one way conversion (based on some heuristics) so material systems are not compatiple. But like always, both are tools on hand of an artist so it's fairly impossible to give any % that could make sense. But feature vice, Thea is superior to Kerkythea.

Kerkythea is a bicycle, and Thea is a very nice motor bike.
A bicycle can take you anywhere you want to go, but the motor bike... is still a motor bike.
After riding the bike for a while, and you want "more" then get Thea. It's worth every penny. And what you learned from using KT will help you when you begin learning to use Thea.
