just wondering if you have been happy with the results the core i7 and ddr3 ram have been delivering?...

I am also looking at a x58 mobo setup but its a bit pricey atm.

my desktop with management acts!!
Whit indigo 64 bit I rendered a good quality in 10 minutes of calculation for external image at 1630 x 880 of resolution.
I tester the new pc with Kerkythea!!

In this small CPU benchmark, the result of the new 4 * 3.2Ghz is faster than the old 4 * 3.2Ghz....
And 3 times faster than the old one overclocked to 4.0Ghz

I am looking for a new PC and this appears to be a good configuration.

In one test I ran on the corei7 (2.67ghz) (64bit Vista) it rendered my scene in 1m1s, when rendering the exact same scene same settings on my old pc it took 9m exactly. (Intel Pentium 4 2.4Ghz) (32bit Win XP)

So now I'm rendering with basically 9 of my old computers.

yeah... worth the money. every penny.
