what are these?

some part of kt rendering system is undiscoverd for me . specially i dont know how to use fog?
and also i dont know what are those axes at the scene and how do i can use them?

thanx clipi and Fletch . and my second question is how to use fog . when i use fog all my scene goes white !!!! and i dont know how to control ( and basically what are those options!!!! :( ) majid

Hi dear Majid,

I've attached a scenes, enabling you to test these yourself... ;)

I'm aware that you know this, but for others who want to play with the Global fog settings, click Settings > Scene...
You'll now see a window with 3 tabs... (Lights, Cameras and Global Settings)
Select the Global Settings tab...
At the bottom of that tab adjust the settings in the Global Fog field...
To increase the fog adjust the Scatter setting... ;) (may start with .05 or .1)

@majidyegane, Maybe you can use Depth Render to use as a mask and create some fog in Photoshop, just like DOF. Ill put an expamle ima few minutes...

must grab correct gizmo, didec... worked last I checked. ;)

here's my first fog test. obviously needs work, but is promising. pm+fg Med... and some custom fuzzy tracing.

fog takes long to render :shock: 5.75h on PM Med only sunlit... :(

Fog...

Achieving some balanced fog in Kerkythea is not so easy confessedly. You have to experiment a lot with the related settings. Things could have been set with a density, fallof distance and color option initially and then there should be an advanced option choice so that somebody could play with absorption and scattering in the case he/she needed it, to my opinion. Such a thing could make things much more easier and accesible. But anyway even now with some experimentation you may understand somehow the underlying working principles of this particular feature in Kerkythea. Do not forget to keep very low the emittance and play with fallof only when you begin. This could make you understand it easier.
