Quick patch for testing only on Win & MacOSXPPC.

Windows:

MacOSX PPC:


NOTE: the archives contain ONLY the binaries for the mentioned platforms. You will need to replace the current ones made by the original installers.

Changes Log:
1. Bug fix for camera animation rendering when interpolation is off.
2. Multithreading freeze fix for windows platform
3. Color selection fix for macosx PPC.

just fixed the AA problem with jagged edges, and this is why i decided
to post immediately this beta for testing!

Please note that 2.0.1 & 2.0.2 (windows) have still the multithreading
freeze problem as noted by some early testing in this forum.

The 2.0.3 version solved the multithreading freeze problem in my case!
(32bit Vista Home Premium, mobile Core2Duo T7300, 4GbRAM).

I just uploaded 2.0.4 for windows:



This version has an improved implementation of the related multithreading freeze problem. Thus, it needs same testing like before (regarding multithreading freeze) to see that the improvement did not produce the same problem like before.

Also, the bucket size was reduced to 16x16 to enhance speed in AA in multithreading mode.

Thanks in advance for testing. If this proves to be ok, then I will create the official update on site.

A new period of patches to Echo release has just begun

You can find the first version 2.0.7 (only for windows) containing the executable. You will have to copy-paste to installation folder (please rename or make a back up of the previous version).

1. Obj file corrected reading when texture/normal coordinates were missing for some groups [reported by Clipi]
2. Bump mapping orientation bug for bitmaps [reported by Rafa]
3. Some other minor fixes

How do I install the latest patch (with the bump correction?)
Do I just copy the new KERKETHEA file in the installation map? I renamed the old one KERKETHEAOLD. Should it work now?
