PNG - alpha channel confusion

In Windows, to know for sure if a png has transparent parts, just double-click on it to open the image viewer and start a slideshow. In slideshow mode, any transparent parts will be shown in black.
If it does have transparent parts, copy the texture from the diffuse slot to the clipmap slot in Kerky, and then tick the "alpha channel" box for the copy of the texture applied as a clipmap.
