Hi All,
I am glad to upload SU2KT version 3.0. BIG THANKS to all Beta Testers!

List of bug fixes and new features:

- KT library materials import added - use KT Library materials inside SU
- Back-face material exported when no front material specified or default (painted faces have priority over default material)
- Optional Photo-matched faces\textures export (slower) as a selection or as exploded faces
- Model opening in KT after export (Win only - so far)
- Automatic animation rendering after path export (Win only - so far)
- Wrong date bug and Time bug for non GMT locations fixed
- Icons added for export options
- Tools for placing spot & pointlights added (+ Automatic calculation of estimated desired light power)
- When KT material has no texture - SU2KT will use SU texture as a bump map

- Sun animation will modify Sky as well - Download sample AVI (Xvid - 2,3MB)
- Default UVs export option - for later texturing inside KT
- Intensity of colours back to 1.0
- Missing GIF textures bug fixed
- Selecting an object in SU before clicking the import KT mats button will Auto-Filter the material list limiting attaching a material from KT to SU for the material or materials present in the object selected.
Fletch has prepared a bunch of three VIDEO Tutorials! Thanks a lot!
Simple SU2KT Export example (7.9MB)
Photomatch feature (4MB)
KT Materials Import (10.3 MB)
That is probably all folks. Happy rendering!

Hope someone can help me, but version 3 is not working for me. When I click open export in Kerky nothing happens, previous version worked fine for me. Also none of the Kerky icons show in SU for me. I'm running AMD 64x2 5200, 4 GB RAM, Vista. Thanks for any help.

Hi Mike,
The screen shot you've made tells me that the SU2KT ver. 3 is working perfect...
What issue is it that you experience..??
Cheers

It looks like that export did work "m:\", but SU2KT wont be able to start KT. If that is the problem, then try to look if there "c:\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 6\Plugins\kt_path.txt" that contains "c:\Program Files\Kerkythea Rendering System\Kerkythea.exe" (default directories used).
Also SU2KT should be able to create
"c:\Program Files\Kerkythea Rendering System\start.bat"
"c:\Program Files\Kerkythea Rendering System\start.kts"
If user account have not enough permissions (like running as non administrator account) you should give proper rights so that previous files could be created.

It should work on Windows. On MAC it won't. I have to asked some Ruby
masters working on MAC to help me with it.
As Notareal advised please check if start.bat exists in KT folder.
If it is there please run it manually. It can be a problem with the path
KT is not accepting non Latin characters.

notareal, Tomasz, the model does get exported however KT does not start, have to do so manually. Could't find the file kt_path.txt, so what did I do wrong? Thanks for your help.
