oke tried it on the mac and it worked. It's was nearly 2times faster with exporting. the only thing the xml file went from 105,5mb to 131mb and when i try to export as instanced object i don't get a popup screen when it's finished. It seems to stop! it stops at "collecting faces - level 1 -" tried a test with a selection from the model and exported it as instanced object this did work, so there's something with my model i think

It is due to Default UVs set to Yes. It adds default texture coordinates for all untextured faces.

I bet it has something to do with a component name. Could you check suspicious component names and try to export them as a selection in instanced mode? What does the Ruby console say?

Thanks Tomasz, a great improvement.

As a common user of your plugin, all I can say is that. Thank you.

I think you have to select 'Expand' option.

You are all welcome.
If one finds the exporter useful also for commercial things, please consider a small donation towards development. I have added a Paypal donation button on my website on SU2KT page.

All the credits for the speed improvement in not-instanced mode should go to Stefan Jaensch.
I have just implemented the changes he has proposed.
