Glass reflection too high

So I know this sounds simple... but I've tried everything from reducing IOR to trying different rendering presets. I am trying to render different phone concepts and as for the glass over the screen, it reflects so much of the globals that you can't see underneath of it. It certainly didn't do that before, and any older previously created skp model I export still works, but if I export something new and render it using glass presets (including thin glass) that I downloaded off the kt downloads page, it simply reflects too much light. I'm a noob here so any help would be greatly appreciated.
